Our History

Our History

Harbert Funeral Home was moved to its current location on January 2, 1965. During the previous year Mr. & Mrs. Harbert completely remodeled the premises for use as a funeral home. A new chapel was built which allowed for a more spacious viewing and visitation area and ample seating during services.

The funeral home has had periodic remodeling since with the latest addition of the family lounge in 2005.

R. Edward Harbert, Jr. "Eddie", Tim Holtz and their staff continue to operate the funeral home in the tradition of Eddie's parents with a high standard of care and compassion for the families they serve.
