Mr. Albert Clyde Kelley

October 11, 1927 - March 20, 2022

Obituary-Salem-Albert Clyde Kelley, 94 of Salem departed this life on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the WV Veterans Nursing Home, Clarksburg. He was born on October 11, 1927 in Doddridge County a son of the late Terence and Ninnie Nutter Kelley. He was preceded in death by his wife Oma Lee Richards Kelley. Surviving is two daughters, Becky Myers (Edgar), Brenda Paugh (Marvin) both of Salem, one step son, Rollin Richards, Bridgeport, one brother, Robert Kelley, Salem, six grandchildren, Jesse Myers, Laura Myers, Richard, Roger, Amber and Josh Paugh, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Kevin Kelley, one step son, Raymond Francis Richards and five sisters. Mr. Kelley was retired from the City of Salem of Salem as the Water Plant Operator. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Albert enjoyed farming and gardening. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dustin McCune presiding. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 4-8 pm and after 9 am on Thursday until time of service.
