Jack Eugene Lamm

September 25, 1927 - October 29, 2013

Jack E. Lamm, 86 of Seneca Dr. Clarksburg departed this life on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in the Heritage Nursing Home, Bridgeport surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 25, 1927 in Pennsboro, the son of the late Lakin and Lola Dotson Lamm. Twice married he was preceded in death by his first wife Evelyn Jenkins Lamm. On March 28, 1983 he married Barbara Yatulchik Lamm who survives. Also surviving is one son, Walter George Lamm and wife Annette, Stonewood, two grandchildren, Laken and McKenzie Lamm. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald E. Lamm and one sister, Kathleen Vincent. Mr. Lamm was retired from the Clarksburg Water Board as an Accountant with 38 years’ service. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. Jack enjoyed bowling and playing golf. He was a Club Champion at Bell Meadows Country Club. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted in the Stonewood Alliance Church, 411 Hazelwood Ave. Stonewood on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 11:00AM with Pastor Ken Kelley presiding. There will be a dinner following the memorial service at 1:00PM in the Eastview Community Center. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice 67 Casino Dr. Suite 102 Anmoore, WV 26323. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.harbertfuneralhome.com.
