Patience “PJ” Spencer, 9, of West Union departed this life on Monday, September 3, 2012. She was born on September 11, 2002 in Clarksburg to the late Frederick A. Spencer III and Dixie McCullough Spencer. Surviving are one sister, Elisabeth Spencer, West Union, two brothers, Ian and Joseph Spencer, West Union. “PJ” was a student at Doddridge County Elementary School. She enjoyed reading, school, swimming and had aspirations of becoming a doctor at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00PM in the T. Edward Davis gymnasium on the campus of Salem International University with Pastor Dale Thorngate and Pastor Brent Hannah presiding. A time of gathering will be two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Spencer Family Fund, C/O Cornerstone Bank, West Union, Salem or Pennsboro where an account has been established.
